Restarting Media Components

You can restart a Media Component from the Cluster Manager. You can restart the Media Component "gracefully", whereby the Cluster Manager allows the Media Component to continue processing currently active transcoding sessions for a user-defined time (graceful timeout). For more information on graceful timeout, see Configuring Graceful Timeout.

To restart a Media Component:

1.

Open the Media Components table (see Step 6: Adding Media Component to Cluster Manager).

2.

Select the required Media Component, and then from the Action button on the table's toolbar, choose Restart.
